The Millennium Scientific Institute Complex Engineering Systems groups several researchers from the University of Chile and other universities with the objective of generating state of the art scientific research in the engineering field, and to develop solutions for complex problems in private and public sectors.
The Institute was born in January 2007 thanks to the support of the Planning Ministry's Millennium Scientific Initiative, built on the successful previous work of the Millennium Nucleus of the same name. With the Institute we hope to extend our activities generating new projects with the industry, publishing more scientific papers, preparing professionals and new researchers, and establishing relationships with the general community to create interest for science and the value of sophisticated engineering solutions.
